Our process includes several stages to assure that you are happy with the final results of the project. We are committed to continuous communication throughout the process so that there are never any surprises and you have the chance to evaluate the project as it evolves.
Our process includes:
1. Initial Consultation and Interview: The process begins with an interview to assess the scope and type of landscape that you are looking for, your design preferences, and how you intend to use the space.
2. Estimate and Project Scheduling: After our initial discussion we will send an itemized estimate for the work that we discussed showing the projected labor and materials costs. Once the estimate is accepted, a contract signed, and you have given an initial deposit, we will schedule the installation.
3. Site Assessment: We complete a comprehensive site assessment for every project that we install. This assessment details sunlight, soil conditions (pH, texture, drainage, density), and existing plants and materials for the site. This is an essential step in a successful design and installation project, as it will guide the plant selection and proper hardscaping design.
4. Design and Feedback: Based on your input and the site assessment, we will develop a garden design schematic and planting plan and send it for your review and input. This is your chance to go over the plans and ask for changes or provide comments. Based on this response we will make any necessary changes and send you a final design and planning plan.
5. Installation: Once everything is in place we’ll break ground on the project. Feel free to come and discuss the work with us at any time. We always do our best to minimize any disturbance to your life that the construction causes and will do our best to accommodate any requests. If any unexpected issues come up during the installation process we will notify you immediately and make any necessary adjustments.
6. Final Walk Through: Upon the completion of any project we will do a walk through with you to discuss the elements of the project, make sure that you happy with the results, and see whether there are any additions or changes that you would like.
7. Invoice, Care, and Evaluation: You will receive the final invoice shortly after completion of the project along with a follow up care instructional sheet and an evaluation form. We value your feedback on our performance and the garden we installed as this will help to guide us on future projects.
